Urban Fantasy

The Guardian recently had a good article about urban fantasy and its breadth and depth. I’ve been on a bit of an urban fantasy kick lately so the timing of the article was perfect. While I haven’t read any of the books or authors mentioned in the article, I recently discovered a couple of new to me urban fantasy authors that I am enjoying to go with those that I already devour.

I started the Dante Valentine series by Lilith Saintcrow and very much enjoyed the first book, Working for the Devil. I’ve also got Trailer Park Fae, Saintcrow’s newest book, in my to read pile. At the library, I picked up The House of Shattered Wings by Aliette de Bodard and the first in the Black London series by Caitlin Kittredge so those will be up next on reading list.

What urban fantasy authors do you enjoy?
